The West Studios is Houston's premier full service white box studio. The studio space is a beautiful, 1,200 square-foot, completely white space that serves as a blank canvas for your imagination. During daylight hours, floor to ceiling westward facing windows provide bright diffused natural light all day and beautiful golden light during sunset. Sheer curtains are installed in the studio and can be closed to give beautiful, soft light. Blackout curtains are also available to darken the space during daylight hours or for privacy while shooting.

As a full service rental studio we have all the essential tools. A standard studio rental includes the use of the standard grip equipment in the studio: c-stands, background stands, sandbags, clamps, v-flats, extension cords, gaff tape, apple boxes, and assorted seamless backgrounds. 

 

For Stylists + Hair and Makeup

We've got your friends covered too. With tables, wardrobe racks, and chairs your Stylist and Hair and Makeup Artist need only bring there essential gear to be at home. There is also ample space for a hair stylist and makeup artist to work simultaneously. 

Whats possible in the space

The studio is a blank canvas that can be transformed to be as unique as you are. It can be shot as a natural light space. It can also accommodate the use of large flash modifiers. Blackout curtains can facilitate the use of low key lighting and haze during the daytime.
