FALL INTERN - STUDIO ASSISTANT
SEEKING SOMEONE AWESOME: Thanks to our ridiculous amazing community, The West Studios is growing faster than we ever dreamed and we’re hiring an intern to help us continue the growth! We’re seeking an enthusiastic person who loves working with people and has an appreciation for the creative field. The position will work alongside the studio manager + owners to communicate with clients, man the studio during bookings and generally keep everything running smoothly. This position will also secondarily act as an assistant for Joseph West Photography and Melissa Fitzgerald Photography as needed. This role could move to a part-time/full-time position in the Winter to help manage each of our respective businesses + mainly The West Studios.
Hours: Up to 20 hours per week
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
During a booking
o changing the letter board sign
o greeting clients
o helping clients get set up for their rental
o answering question throughout the booking (if needed)
o managing a timely entrance and exit for clients
o taking payments at the end of the session
o resetting of the studio at the end of the rental (light sweeping, moving equipment back to its original place, arranging curtains)
Throughout the week
o Assisting with the communication of clients via email and phone
o Keep studio calendar updated
o Entering leads and jobs into our client management system
o Guiding studio tours for visitors
o Ensuring studio and office supplies are stocked
o Occasionally running errands – (including but not limited to supply runs, equipment purchasing, and picking up lunch for staff)
o Assisting with the management of social media (Instagram and Facebook)
